Imagine a place where you are surprised by love and kindness.
Imagine a place where you are inspired and refreshed on Sundays.
Imagine a place where you are greeted by a welcoming smile and a warm handshake or hug. If you have children, you can rest assured that they'll have a fun and safe place to learn and grow. As you make your way to the sanctuary, you find a comfortable seat and settle in. You notice a distinctly positive vibe to the service. The music is moving. The prayers are encouraging. The message is thought-provoking and relevant. Afterwards you enjoy coffee and fellowship with others who are also on a spiritual journey. Good people. Good message. As you head home, you notice something. You feel better!
Perhaps your experience in the past with “church” has been something like mine – too often negative, irrelevant, or even downright boring. Sadly, too many churches today fail to connect with real people like you and me who have deep questions and real needs. At FCC, you will experience a different kind of church. Our message is a practical and positive one. Jesus shared good news, and we seek to do the same, the good news of God’s love. Believe me when I say that you will feel welcome here.
The Sunday morning schedule includes worship in the Sanctuary, Church School and Fellowship. Each Sunday our congregation gathers for worship at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Our 9:00 a. m. service is a worship expression that includes the traditional hymns and liturgy of the Christian church. Our 10:30 a.m. service is a bit more informal. Familiar songs and children's events are an important part of this service.
At 4:30 p.m. we are offering an alternative service featuring acoustic guitar music, time for meditation, weekly communion, and the same positive message as our two morning services. This new service provides our members and the Ramona community with an alternative style and time for worship. Sunday School and nursery care are provided.
We invite you to find the worship experience that speaks most clearly to you… and to join us each Sunday. We welcome all visitors and encourage you to join us in worship and the many other activities and missions in the church.
