The Congregational Children’s Center

see what we’re all about

Whether you’re looking for a preschool or daycare, the Congregational Children’s Center (CCC) is a truly awesome place for kids. To learn more about the center personally from our CCC Director, Mindy Tretera, call 1-760-789-3329 or email ccc@fccramona.org. Here are some of the basics:

The Congregational Children’s Center is our church’s preschool and daycare facility. Located on the premises, CCC is a nonprofit, Christian preschool and daycare center established to provide a safe, loving environment where children can learn and grow into happy, well-rounded individuals. Our program is open to children ages 18 months to 12 years, regardless of race, religion, or national origin. Preschool and extended care are offered for younger children. Our Before and After School Program provides a safe, comfortable place for children in grades K – 6.  Parents or guardians are welcome to visit whenever possible.  CCC is licensed by the State of California (#372005051 & #372005786) and has been serving the Ramona community for more than twenty years.

Our Philosophy

Children are unique individuals who learn through “doing”. The Congregational Children’s Center will provide a safe place for each child to successfully experience group interaction, language activities, dance, art, music, and more. When treated with care and respect, children learn to treat others with kindness and to appreciate each other’s differences.

Our Goals

By providing the opportunity to choose from a variety of stimulating hands-on activities, children will be encouraged to develop their special talents and interests while learning group social and listening skills. Through informal religious instruction, including prayers, Bible stories, and songs, children will be encouraged to adopt Christian values in their lives. Children will be encouraged to value and accept the unique qualities of each individual. Staff will provide guidance and direction with unconditional love.

Policy

The center’s staff look forward to working with all children. In order to provide a safe learning environment, appropriate behavior is expected. Our Board reserves the right to exclude a child for inappropriate behavior.

Discipline is not punitive. The following discipline techniques are used to teach appropriate behavior: diversion, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time out. Parents will be notified of serious or continuing behavioral problems so that we may work together to best serve your child.

Tuition

Tuition is due and payable in advance on the first of each month. Please call the office at (760) 789-3348 x1006 to inquire about our tuition schedule.
