We give thanks for the ministry of Rev. Lawrence Hand, who has served as the Interim Pastor of one of our sister churches, Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, during a very challenging season in the life of their congregation. With wisdom, compassion, and steady leadership, Pastor Larry has guided Spirit of Joy with grace and care, helping the community remain centered in faith and hope.

He was integral in helping Spirit of Joy navigate a season of transition, including their move into a new worship space and the many changes that came with it. Through his pastoral care and vision, he not only shepherded the congregation forward but also strengthened their life together. He was also an important partner in the founding of the Ramona Youth Collaborative.

Pastor Larry leaves Ramona better than he found it. His ministry has been a blessing not only to Spirit of Joy but also to the wider community. Though we are sad to see him go, we are profoundly grateful for his time among us and for the impact of his leadership. We send him off with prayers of thanksgiving and blessings for the next chapter of his journey. May God continue to work through him in powerful ways.
