Considering Membership at First Congregational Church of Ramona

Church membership is not about signing up for a club or adding your name to a list. Membership is a way of saying: this is a community I want to journey with. It is a commitment to worship together, care for one another, serve our neighbors, and participate in the life God is creating among us.

At First Congregational Church of Ramona, we believe the church is called to be a welcoming and inclusive community where people can ask questions, grow in faith, and discover what it means to follow Jesus together. Whether you have been attending for many years or have only recently found your way here, we invite you to consider becoming a member of this congregation.

Membership is a meaningful way to affirm your connection to this church family. It allows you to participate more fully in the life and leadership of the church, including voting at congregational meetings and helping shape the future of our shared ministry. More importantly, it is a public affirmation that we belong to one another and are committed to walking together in faith, hope, and love.

You do not need to have everything figured out before becoming a member. The Christian life is not about certainty or perfection. It is about participating in the grace of God together and learning to live a life of love in the way of Christ alongside one another.

If you are interested in becoming a member, or if you simply want to learn more about what membership means, we would love to hear from you. You can fill out our interest form here:

We are grateful for all who make up this community and look forward to continuing the journey together.
