In Galatians 5:13, Paul exhorts us, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

Starting on July 28th, Spirit of Joy will begin sharing space and holding their worship gatherings on the grounds of RUMC. This collaboration is not just a practical solution to financial challenges; it's a beautiful testament to the strength of shared faith and the unity of churches within our community.

Through a theological understanding of disability, traditional notions of wholeness and perfection are re-examined. Rather than seeing disability as a lack or imperfection, disability theology suggests that true wholeness encompasses the entirety of human experiences, including disability. Human diversity, including the variety of disabilities, reflects the richness of God's creation.
