Gifts: An Update From Our Mission Board

As the weather cools and the holidays approach, our Mission Board is grateful for the many ways our congregation continues to share warmth, care, and generosity with our neighbors.

Gifts of Warmth for Our Veterans
We are collecting gifts of warmth—such as blankets, socks, gloves, and warm clothing—for local veterans through Veterans Village. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, November 11. You’re welcome to bring your items to either the 8:45 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. worship gathering. Thank you for helping us honor and care for those who have served.

Christmas Giving Begins!
Our annual Giving Tree is now up in the narthex! You’ll notice it decorated with tags—each one representing a $25 grocery card. If you’d like to participate, simply take a tag, purchase a $25 grocery gift card, and return it with the tag attached.

Gift cards from Aldi, Albertsons, Stater Bros., Ramona Family Naturals, or Dollar Tree (or wherever is convenient for you) are all welcome.

These donations will help provide gifts through the Sheriff Department’s YANA (You Are Not Alone) program for local seniors, as well as assist families in our community who are experiencing financial hardship this season. The seniors and families who receive these gifts are always deeply grateful—and your generosity brings real joy and relief during the holidays.

Thank you for being the hands and heart of Christ in our community!
